HRY matcha tea canister
HRY matcha tea canisters are quite suitable for matcha packaging. These are welded sealed matcha canisters. The top is well sealed with a rubber silicone lid and with a double pull-off or aluminum foil lid. It allows the bottom-filling of the matcha and then by pressing the lid to well seal the canister. If you don’t want the bottom sealed, then we can seal the bottom for you and the top allows you to be sealed with aluminum foil after filling, just like our WSC matcha canister.

The history of Matcha
Matcha (まっちゃ) refers to steamed green tea that is ground into fine powder using natural stone mills. Matcha was invented by the Han people and is the crystallization of the wisdom of Han tea masters. It originated in the Sui Dynasty of China, rose in the Tang Dynasty, and flourished in the Song Dynasty. It has a history of more than a thousand years. Matcha was the most popular way of tea ceremony during the Tang and Song Dynasties, and it was one of the important social activities for nobles, literati and scholars. “The green clouds are blown by the wind continuously, and the white flowers float on the bowl surface.” This is the praise of matcha by the Tang Dynasty poet Lu Tong. Unfortunately, since the Ming Dynasty, the Han people began to make tea popular, and the tradition of matcha gradually faded out of people’s sight and eventually disappeared in China.
At the end of the ninth century, China’s matcha entered Japan with the Tang envoys. At that time, Japan, from the court to the common people, regarded the Tang culture as the “Three Represents” and regarded it as a treasure to learn and inherit. Japanese tea lovers integrate tea tasting with religious philosophy, social morality, and character cultivation, combining “tea tasting” with “discussing the Dao”, elevating drinking tea (actually “eating tea” is more appropriate) to the level of “Dao”, forming the unique Japanese tea ceremony. Today, the tea ceremony has become the quintessence of Japan, and Matcha has become one of the etiquettes of Japan in entertaining state guests.
